24 and 25 January 2019
The School of Population Health & Environmental Sciences at King’s College London is pleased to invite you to the South-East Annual Scientific Meeting of the Society of Academic Primary Care. It is always a pleasure to return to Madingley Hall. Few conference venues match the friendliness and intimacy of our SAPC meeting at Madingley.
This year our theme is Digital Futures in Primary Care?, a topic which is relevant to us all as clinicians, teachers and researchers. Primary care must find ways of integrating the new on-line clinical services with traditional face-to-face general practice. This challenge presents a range of new opportunities for teaching and research.
We have four keynote speakers who will address the impact of digital innovation and point to future developments that will influence our teaching and research agendas:
- Professor Chris Salisbury
- Dr Zoe Williams
- Dr Shubs Upadhyay
- Professor Martin Marshall
One of the notable features of our recent meetings at Madingley is the number of presentations that have been made by junior researchers, educationalists and students. We hope this year will be no different. Their contributions reflect the growing cadre of young academics entering academic primary care who will be the future of our discipline.
